Meet the Greyhounds at Animal Awareness Day!
Date: Sunday, October 5, 2025
Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Guilford Fairgrounds (indoors in the main barn and under the covered pavilion)
Come meet greyhounds and learn what makes these retired racers such affectionate and loyal companions. Our volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about adoption, fostering, and what it’s like to live with a greyhound.
Animal Awareness Day includes live music, kids’ activities, food trucks, and animal demonstrations. This year’s event has moved from Branford to the spacious Guilford Fairgrounds, where everything will take place indoors or under cover — rain or shine.
