Animal Awareness Day

Celebrate your love for animals at Animal Awareness Day on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from noon to 4 p.m. on the Branford Town Green. This annual event is a favorite in our community, benefiting the Branford Compassion Club’s Feline Rescue and Adoption Center.
As part of this year’s festivities, we’re excited to host a special Greyhound Meet and Greet. Stop by our table to meet these gentle, affectionate dogs and learn more about greyhound adoption. Whether you’re considering adding a greyhound to your family or simply want to learn more about this wonderful breed, we’ll be there to answer your questions and share our passion for these amazing dogs.
The event will be packed with fun activities for all ages, including live music, children’s activities, food trucks, live animal demonstrations, and much more. Don’t miss the chance to meet some adorable greyhounds and find out how you can get involved in greyhound rescue.
