Pikey is a sweet, gentle greyhound with a heart full of affection. He’s adjusting well to life as a pet, quickly mastering leash walking and making great progress with potty training. Pikey loves to explore and is naturally curious about the world around him. At home, he’s calm and well-behaved, especially after a good walk or some playtime—he’s a big fan of his daily exercise!

Pikey is settling in nicely with his medium and large dog foster siblings. He’s still learning how to communicate with unfamiliar dogs, particularly non-greyhounds, but his social skills are improving with regular dog park visits.

When he’s not out on walks, Pikey enjoys entertaining himself with squeaky stuffies and bully sticks. He’s a calm, affectionate companion who loves spending quality time with his humans. Pikey is crate-trained for meals and when left alone, though he’d much prefer to be out of his crate and with you.

Pikey is probably not cat-safe, so he’ll need a home without feline friends. If you’re looking for a playful, loving greyhound who’s ready to be part of your family, Pikey just might be the perfect fit!
