Ego is a gentle giant who is settling into home life and getting to know his people. He can be a little reserved at first, but he’s already starting to warm up and show his sweet personality. One thing is certain…he loves his walks! Ego is fantastic on leash and enjoys getting out to explore the neighborhood.

He’s housebroken and has excellent house manners, though he has discovered that kitchen counters are worth checking just in case something tasty has been left behind. Ego is also working on mastering the stairs and is making steady progress. He’s even beginning to discover the fun of squeaky toys, which has been a joy to watch. As Ego continues to gain confidence, we expect his wonderful personality to shine even brighter.

We believe Ego would do best in a home with another dog, as having a canine companion seems to help him feel more comfortable. However, with time and the right adopter, he may also be successful as an only dog.
