Whether he’s exploring a walking trail, poking his nose into a store, or making the rounds at an office, Chuck approaches every outing with the same energy: friendly, confident, and genuinely delighted to be there. He’s an adventurous guy who has fully committed to his new life as a pet.

Chuck is polite with other dogs and does well with children. He has his suspicions about cats and squirrels, but he’s working on it — and mostly willing to take your word for it that they’re not a threat.

At home, he’s easy. Chuck will snooze the day away next to his Kong and his emotional support stuffed animal, holds his bladder comfortably through a full workday, and is well-behaved in the house. When you walk through the door, expect a proper greeting: a deep bow and an enthusiastic squeak.

Loud noises like lawnmowers used to give him pause, but Chuck has made real progress. He now sleeps through barking dogs, ambulances, and passing traffic without much fuss.

Chuck is looking for a home with plenty of exercise, lots of love, and no cats — a place where he doesn’t have to share his people with anyone who might be plotting against him.
