Meet & Greet – Bethany, CT

Come meet greyhounds and learn more about greyhound adoption at this meet & greet! Volunteers will be available to answer questions about the adoption process and life with these wonderful dogs, and we may have adoptable dogs available to meet.

While you’re there, browse the store. Lock Stock & Barrel is dog-friendly and carries one of the largest selections of dog food and pet supplies in Connecticut. It’s a great excuse to stock up!
If Bethany is a bit of a road trip, make an afternoon of it! Right across the street from Lock Stock & Barrel is the Bethany Airport property — a former airfield that opened in 1923 and is now maintained by the Bethany Land Trust as a 112-acre nature preserve. Three easy-to-moderate trails wind through the wooded western end of the property, with ample parking right on site. Dogs are welcome. Download the trail map
