Pumpkin is a handsome red fawn boy who recently joined us and is already showing us what a sweetheart he is! At 2 years old, he’s a young greyhound with plenty of life ahead of him as he settles into retirement from the track.

Pumpkin is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, his affectionate nature really shines through. He loves people and is excellent with dogs of all sizes — making him a wonderful companion in a multi-dog household, though he’s also making great progress as an only dog. He hasn’t been officially cat tested yet, but he can be easily redirected from squirrels and rabbits, so he is likely cat workable.

On the practical side, Pumpkin is a dream to live with. He’s great on stairs and walks beautifully on leash. He can comfortably go about 4 hours between potty breaks, making him quite manageable for most routines.

Pumpkin would thrive in a home where someone is frequently around, as he does best with company. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving boy who just needs a little time to come out of his shell, Pumpkin might be your perfect match!
